Lesson Learned

So each day my calorie budget is set based upon a workout and the number of calories burned during the workout. Yesterday I made the mistake of pre-calculating those calories before my workout. Well instead of going to the gym at lunch I met my wife and we had lunch together. Then the day just flew by and the next thing I know it is 9:45pm and my workout was still not done and my calorie deficit was non existent. It took all I had to muster enough energy to complete my workout and I barely burned enough calories to meet my goal. So what is the lesson learned? No more projecting caloric burn.

Success Starts Now

No more delay, success begins today.

I am tired of looking like a couch potato. There is no distinguishable body shape difference between myself and someone who gourds themselves daily with Ding Dongs, Twinkies and Coke! I am not that guy and so I should not look like that guy. I am the first to admit there is much to change in my daily diet and that is why I am in this position.

So each day, in an effort to motivate myself I will report my prior days eating and workout stats for all those who care to read or view them. At some points along the way I may share some insight as to what I have learned or with what I am struggling with.
